One of the options during this year's What Will You Celebrate promotion if you visit on your birthday and have proof of age and already have a multi-day ticket* is a special fastpass - but offhand don't know if it's "all day" or if it's once per designated attraction (designated attractions numbering about five or six).

*Because the actual promotion allows the Guest free admission to one park on their birthday, but that's useless to multi-day ticketholders.

Are you aware that if you go to the parks on your son's actual Bday and he already has a ticket for entry that day, he could get a Gift card worth almost $80 for mds at WDW? You can't use the GC for food/snacks but he could pick 'his own presents' at pretty much any of the stores at WDW.
Me personally, I don't think the fast pass is worth $80. I let my DD get the gift card. It was her bday.
this is from Chesire Figment's explanation of the Bday program this year re the FP tickets in lieu of free entry on your Bday. HTH

FastPass Birthday Exchange Card

These may not be available for arrivals after 11:00am.

These tickets will be issued to each member of the celebrant’s party, but not more than six people. They will be valid that day and in that park only.

There are two categories of attractions, Donald (which are "E-Ticket") and Daisy, which are the less busy. Which attractions and the specific procedures may vary between the parks as well as the anticipated crowd sizes.

The return time on the FastPasses that are issued will be directly at the time of issue, no matter the FastPass Return Time that is being issued for normal FastPasses. In addition, even if all FastPasses are issued for a specific attraction for the day the special immediate access FastPasses will be issued; there will be one machine at each location for these passes.

Each of the tickets can be used once at each FastPass location. If you attempt to use it a second time an error message will come out.

We got the Dream Fast Passes last time we were at Disney>>> we actualy got them at DHS! You just have to be at the right place at the right time! Our whole group got them in line for the Backlot Tour! It was awesome, and almost first thing in the a.m.! We were all SUPER happy and it was our last full day there for the trip, so it was a great way to end it!!!! )))

There are no more Dream Fast Passes -- those ended in 2008 at the end of Year of a Million Dreams.

But since your trip is next year, they no longer will be doing this promotion.

nothing is all day per se. the dream FPs were one per attraction, the bday fastpasses were a set from a select list of attractions.

the DVC tour is closest with enhanced FPs that won't make you wait to collect, I believe that's good for 3 sets?

AAA packages at *Disneyland* USED to include enhanced FP which let you obtain FPs at different attractions without having to wait.

otherwise the only time I'm personally even aware of the issuance of truly unlimited FP cards was during the HCOE media event at DLR.

One of these days, I bet Disney offers an all day fast pass that you can pay for. I bet there will be an option for guest staying on property to pay a premium with there hopper passes. I've heard they've considered it in the past. I know Universal has something similar.

Those getting the Premium VIP Tour (with its associated high price) often get front of the line access at attractions. That's the truly closest thing to an "all day Fastpass".

I expect that next year the Fastpass option for the "Give A Day, Get A Day" promotion will be pretty much the same as the Birthday option.
