I will be in the Orlando on Black Friday. Can anyone tell me about how the sales are at the outlets?

I don't know about the sales, but I wish I was going to be there, too!

I've never been to the outlets on BF (actually I don't think that have great deals any of the time but that's just me) but I did get an ad from Tanger Outlet in the Wisconsin Dells and it says that the stores will be opening at Midnight on Thanksgiving night to start the BF sales. I think that they did this last year as well to get a jump on the other stores early start.

I made the mistake of going to the Tanger Mall in Pigeon Forge TN one year on Black Friday. I didn't go real early because I had to take my daughter to work nearby.

It took me more than an hour to get into the parking lot. They had cars parked on every strip of grass in the area. You just had to look for someone leaving to park. Finally got a spot and went into Old Navy. The lines were stupid long. Hit a couple of other stores and it was the same.

Decided just to leave and spent well over an hour getting OUT of the parking lot.

The traffic is terrible under normal conditions at the Orlando outlet malls. We got caught trying to get out of the old Belz Mall not long after it was rebuilt and my husband refuses to go back again. That was just a normal day.

Thanks for the info. I think my DD and I will give it a go. I am done with my shopping for everyone else so I won't be under too much pressure to "find" anything.
