In Room Coffee at POFQ
This is probably a silly question, but they do provide the coffee in the room at POFQ, right? I know there's a coffee maker.
So the second question is, is what they provide any good? I'm not looking for fantastic, just drinkable!

Yes, you'll have a coffee maker, cups, and coffee, the mousekeeper will replenish your supply each day. Don't know if it's any better because we didn't use it.

I don't drink coffee, but DW does religiously, and she did not like it. It became my job to take her refillable mug--and mine-- to the food court in the morning to fill up with the coffee for her there. After those two cups, she was usually OK to go. Have fun at POFQ, we thought it was a great resort. Loved the size, and found the bus service to be very good.

They do provide coffee but we didn't like it. I always take my own coffee and some filters whenever I travel. Put it in a zip lock bag, takes up no space really.

Agreed; I went with three friends who are coffee fiends, and they only used the coffee once out of desparation, at 4 a.m.
The food court opened at 6 a.m. and they made the trek over. You might want to bring your own.

I usually take the regular round coffee filters, not the cone/triangle ones. The first time I forgot the filters and got some from the kitchen and they were these HUGE things that I had to cut down to fit......haha. Remeber filters for sure because the coffee they provide in the room is the kind that is already inside a filter.
Also remember if you are taking your own can of coffee to use your can opening and open the jar before you leave or else you will, like I did, have to get the kitchen to open your can. haha the things you learn as you go. Enjoy. |

Coffee
Definitely bring your own coffee. The coffee all around WDW is always a disappointment to us. REALLY don't bother at the resort kiosks.

If you don't put any coffee in where the filter goes, it will just come out as hot water. I would run a few cup loads through before making tea or anything else, just to make sure any residual coffee is out of the basket where the filter and coffee would be.

We drink it and like it, but mostly it's because we stop at publix and buy a couple of gallons of drinking water. We find when we make coffee with the tap water, it is awlful. It's not always the actually coffee, the water also makes a big difference too!
