checking out other resorts

When we go to disney this spring I would like to look at all the dvc resorts. Is this allowed and would they let you look at the rooms? we will be staying at kidani and I would love to see all the others.

Why don't you just stay a couple of days at as many as you can. We just left the world after a 14 day 5 resort stay, it was great. If they have rooms available they will let you check them out, but depending on the season it may not happen. We were also allowed to look at a grand villa at Kidani.

Before we purchased several years ago, we tried to do a self tour. The Front Desk personal are not DVC Guides/Sales People so they really aren't too excited about helping you tour. Mousekeeping isn't allowed to let you into a occupied room so you won't get any help there either.

SSR and BLT rooms can be viewed at the SSR Preview Center. BWV has a DVC room on the boardwalk that you can view. At BCV we waited for a Runner to take us to a room. After a hour and a half we gave up. VWL took us to a room and let us look around. OKW laughed at us.

Good luck and have fun.

Bill

Truthfully, you can preview rooms at the Preview Center, visit the public areas of all the resorts and view all the rooms online in extensive photos.

I would see no reason that any more than that would be needed to be able to get a really good sense of each resort.
