Smile Speaking of pumpkins - again - an animal question..

What kind of animals like to eat pumpkins?

I had a small one (about the size of a very large grapefruit) with a decent size stem on it sitting at the top of my steps outside last night.. When I went out this morning, the pumpkin was gone - no signs of it anywhere.. No seeds, no peel, nothing.. Looked all over - under the stairs - and it's gone..

So - what kind of animals like pumpkins - and what kind of animal would be capable of carrying it off somewhere?

Just curious..

Racoon, deer, bear...
Though the deer would be unlikely to carry it off.

If there are absolutely no signs of it, I'd honestly consider the possibility a strange person walked off with it!
