Black Friday....online shopping?

Forgive me if this has already been asked and answered somewhere else....I can't seem to find the answer.

How do you know what items will be available online at each store on Black Friday? I would love to just be able to stay home and shop that way for the items I want and not have to go out early before going to work.

I could be wrong but I believe that a lot of stores that have those doorbuster specials only offer them @ the store b/c they want you to physically be in the store (so this way your in, getting what you need, you get sidetracked, start browsing and then spend more $$$ of course). But the Monday after Thanksgiving (AKA Cyber Monday) there may be some good deals available on store websites. Good Luck!

It varies depending upon the store. As pp mentioned Most early bird specials are only available in store especially Best Buy and Toys R Us, but Walmart and a few other have them available online. Anything that is a spectacular value (like the $200 laptop) figure it's not available online. Most of the advertisements will indicate if an item is available online. That way you can figure out if the item you want is something you need to leave home for or if you can stay in your PJs. Do figure though that you'll still have to get up early to take advantage of the best deals, as many of the items will sell out online too some of them in minutes. You can try adding the item to your cart ahead of time but some places won't price adjust once an item is in your cart and others clear all carts just before the time the sale starts (Gymboree does this).
