Can you get in line for Submarine Voyage right before park closing?

We have one day in the parks in 2 weeks!! We hadn't planned to do Nemo because we don't want to spend much time waiting. Fireworks are at 8:40 the day we are there and park closes at 9:00. Is it possible to watch the fireworks from close to the Tomorrowland entrance and immediately following go and get in line for Submarine Voyage? Thanks for the help!

Yes. As long as you are in-line before official park closing at 9 pm, you'll be allowed to ride.

Thank you so much for your response! We will definitely do that! I don't want to leave a moment earlier than I have to anyway! Thank you!

The rule DangerMouse posted holds true for every attraction in the resort. During busy times, we wait on the longest wait for the very end of the night so we wait in line while there is nothing else happening - well, except end of the night Main Street shopping. hehe

So, Disney Dreams, do you think this plan is a good idea then? We are going to MM hours but are hoping to do Peter Pan first, followed by Madderhorn and Space Mountain. Finding Nemo isn't high on our priority list and we had thought we wouldn't even bother. But then it occurred to me that doing it very last might work. I'm glad to know that all the attractions allow this last minute entry. I guess when the time comes if there is something we haven't wanted to wait for, we could throw it in over Nemo.

I'm not Disney Dreams, but for Space, make sure you utilize FastPasses, so you can just grab an FP and come back to the front of the line later (FP machine not on until regular park hours though, not MM). Matterhorn has long lines throughout the day, so that part of the plan is still good for MM, as is Peter Pan.

So do you think doing Space Mountain during magic morning hours would be a waste? Would it still suck up quite a bit of time if we didn't get to until the second or third attraction of MM?

If you're like me, and love riding Space as much as possible, then do everything you want to during MM and then if you have time for Space, do it at the end of MM. That said, unless there is a 10 minute or less walk-on wait for Space, I just do FP's over and over and over and over....................

Along the lines of what SonnyJane posted.

If those 4 are important:
1. Peter Pan first thing during MM
2. Matterhorn
3. Get a Fastpass for Space Mountain once available. Ride it if the line is not too long (2 rides on Space is never a bad thing!)
4. Nemo very last thing. Get in line 5 minutes before park closing just to be safe. Do NOT be late. Once the clock hits closing time (on THEIR watch, not yours hehe), you will be turned away and not allowed to get in line.
