Please Help --> Which restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner while at DVC HHI???

Hello my DIS friends...We're heading to Disney's Hilton Head Resort over the Thanksgiving holiday, and was wondering if you guys could recommend some great restaurants nearby for Thanksgiving dinner. There will be two adults and three children, and we'd like to have the option of enjoying the customary Thanksgiving dinner of turkey etc., BUT would be open to some other choices as well....Any suggestions -- this could become a new tradition for us??? Thanks !!!

First, see ya there! We're also headed to Disney's HHI for our fourth Thanksgiving there-it WILL be a tradition. Yes, I know that several places have dinner. Not sure where, but I think one is the Westin. We always get a precooked dinner. We love that we can relax, not dress up, and watch football all day. The resort offers a precooked dinner, also Signe's,Piggly Wiggly,Kenny Bs (I think),and Salty Dog (I think). Wait til you smell the cooking of turkeys at the resort Thanksgiving morning-you'll be hooked!

I will be there too! I did the same instead of eating out, I ordered a precooked dinner from Harris Teeter. That we we can relax and eat at our own pace.

We ordered from Disney last year

and it was really good. Don't forget to take part in the flag football games on the beach. HHI is great this time of year and the resort has a lot of fun activities. Also, the Cast Members here are the absolute best.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at CQs in Sea Pines one year. I would do that again. I believe the Old Fort Pub serves a traditional meal; I would also suggest you check with the Old Oyster Factory, Alexander's, the British Open Pub, Charley's Crab, and Red Fish. Many of the restaurants on the Island alter their usual menus for the holiday. Thanksgiving on Hilton Head is wonderful. Enjoy!

Sounds like there'll be several of us there. Hopefully, we'll meet up at some of the recreational activities or on the deck outside Tide Me Over. DH will be golfing almost every day, so I'll be wandering around or attending the recreational activity of the day. If there's a member's tour again where they take you around and show you the Hidden Mickeys (anyone done that?), I always take it. And even though I've been on that tour about 4-5 times, I can never remember the Hidden Mickeys and always am amazed like it's the first time!

Hope to see you. We will only be there for Thursday and Friday and then we head to BWV.

Last year we went to a place, Frankie Bones, I believe it's on the North side of the Island. It was amazing food, and the atmosphere is old Vegas, Frank Sinatra style. Service and food was great and the prices were reasonable. If we were there for Thanksgiving that's where we would definitely go to. Any way, good luck and Happy Turkey to you and your family!
