Question about the wonderful smell in the lobby of the Wilderness Lodge?

My DH and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Wilderness lodge 5 years ago. It was the beginning of December and Christmas was definitely in the air. I remember sitting in the lobby and just soaking in the atmosphere.

One of the things I remember was a heavenly smell...something like apples and cider and cinnamon. It was especially concentrated around the area of the gift shop. Does anyone know what this smell was? Was it a scent cartridge that WDW uses or was it a scent from the gift shop?

I would love to find this scent in order to use it this Christmas in my home. It just evoked such a cozy feeling and unfortunately, it will be several years before I get back to the Wilderness Lodge.

Thanks!

Don't have the answer to your question but, we will be there in about 10 days, so if we detect the scent you are describing, we will try to find out what it is for you.

My dh also loved the scents in the different hotels, he especially loves the pine tree scent in the Christmas shops. One of the workers told us they use ScentAir systems that distribute the smells through the air. Not sure if this is accurate, but it looks like it could be. Here is a link to their site:
