New Year's Eve at Magic Kingdom - The DIS Discussion Forums

Who's done this before? DH and I have been at Disneyland for NYE but this is our first-ever trip to WDW; we'll be there from Dec 28 through the first week of Jan and are planning on spending NYE at Magic Kingdom.

I'm assuming NYE there will be pretty similar to Disneyland; you know, horrendous amounts of people everywhere. Our plan for now is to arrive early, bring some things to entertain ourselves, and stake out a good spot for fireworks. But then I thought, what if we don't want to sit around all day? What if we want to get on a couple rides or, say, eat?

Hmmm. Anyway, I'd like to hear from anyone who's been at MK on NYE before what your experience was like and what you would recommend doing. Thanks!!!

Anyone been on New Year's? Would love some advice!

We will also be there for NYE, maybe at DHS though because of expected crowd levels

. I am quite sure that all of the parks will be crowded, but expect to still have just a wee bit of fun.

We really enjoy going to the Studios for NYE.They have a great party,and it's not too crowded. NYE is magical at Disneyworld !!Have a wonderful time.
