One month out, where's our packet?

I haven't received my packet of goodies yet. Should I be concerned? Our friends are going the same day we are and received theirs on Monday.

Soon come mon, soon come!They could be there any time now. I am booked 12/05 and my TA just emailed Monday that the papers had arrived and she was mailing them to me. Have not seen them yet as of today, 2 weeks, 3 days to arrival. She did provide me a tracking number but not too worried, yet.

How did you book, direct to WDW or TA? If it is not there in the next few days, call whomever you booked with and see if they have been sent.

I went directly through Disney. If they aren't here by this weekend I will be making some calls. The excitement is just too much! A little pixie dust would go a long way right now.

I am going in 2 weeks and think I received mine about 2 weeks ago. The week before that I received the ME stuff. So I would give it a little while before I called.

I'll just throw it out there that if you haven't booked a package you won't get a packet. If you are booked as room only - i.e. you bought park tickets elsewhere. Also, make certain you gave your flight info to wDW if you haven't gotten your Magic Express packet withthe yellow tags, and you plan on using Magic Express. If you aren't using ME and sdon't have a package booked you won't get anything.

I booked through Disney, we are staying on property and have the DDP, and I did tell them that we were buying the tickets there as we were getting the military ones....I am going to wait until 2 weeks out and then call

I got mine at 27 days out

package materials are generally mailed out 5 weeks before check-in. if you are literally 4 weeks out, you were likely to have received it by now, but it could also be literally any day now.

DD went to WDW in August. She never got her packet. That was probably because she had just moved. But apparently it was returned to Disney. It was waiting for them when they checked in at their resort.

we are going december 10th and i have recieved my packet but not the ME stuff yet. i'm sure it will be there soon.

So strange how varied these things are!

We arrive on 12/17 (so exactly 4 weeks out today). We did receive our ME things about two weeks ago. No other packet at this point in the mail.

Oh, and we did get the photopass deals sent to us, but that was in a newsletter email.

DME is typically sent out 6 weeks prior to check-in, most get it 38-40 days prior to check-in.

package materials are sent 5 weeks prior to check-in

if you book through a TA, it all goes to them.

if you get package materials but no DME materials, I'd contact DME at 866-599-0951 and have them confirm you're signed up.

We leave in 16 days. I have not received my DME stuff yet. I called on Monday and this was my (abbreviated) conversation:

Me: I leave in 20 days and haven't received my DME packet.
CM: They usually are sent out 45 days in advance.
Me: I leave in 20 days.
CM: Oh, I see. Well if you don't receive them by 30 days out, give us a call.
Me: I leave in 20 days.
CM: Oh, I see. Let me verify your flight information.....yes we do have you on flight xx coming in on xx.
Me: So what do I need to do?
CM: Just proceed to the DME desk with your baggage claim tickets and they will magically whisk you and your bags away to your resort.

It was a rather bizarre conversation

Since we are arriving later at night I was planning on getting our bags anyways and taking them with us, so as long as we don't have a problem getting on the bus, I don't really care if I don't have the packet. I just thought it was pretty funny.
