Are birthday buttons available all the time? - The DIS Discussion Forums

I was just wondering if Birthday buttons are always available, or are they just available for the "What will you celebrate" year? If they are always available, does it have to be your actual birthday to get one? My DH's actual birthday is January 23rd, but we will be in the parks for the whole day on the 20th, so I would really like to get a birthday button for him, just so he knows how special you feel when about six million people wish you a happy birthday

They are available all the time and nope, it doesn't need to be your exact birthday. They don't ask.

All they want to know is that you are *celebrating* a birthday, and that's been so since I celebrated my b'day in '06, and most likely long before.

The buttons are available unless they run out. How is THAT for an answer?

But if someone has run out it doesn't mean everyone's out, so ask CMs. If the hotel desk is out, ask the ticket people, ask people behind registers in the stores, etc etc. And of course at City Hall or the Guest services/relations place *inside* DCA.

YAY, thanks. I will definately have to get hubby to get a button for his birthday.

No they are always available we went for my dd birthday and it was before the birthday promotion and we got one i hear they always had the button! We have many from over there years

You can definitely get him one. Getting him to WEAR it - hehe - is another battle. hahaha! (My DH wanted NOTHING to do with the button.)

I really think he would wear it, he knows how much fun it was for me. Especially when they all sang to me on the Jungle Cruise

. I will definately have to take him on that ride.
