Room service

How long does it take room service to deliver food?

If I just want a Mickey Bar, how long do I have to wait?

They always say 30 minutes, but I've had delivery in 10. If it's just a Mickey bar, expect it in 10-15, no matter what the person on the phone says.

I agree. I ordered 3 big large cookies and it came in 5 minutes! How long it takes usually depends on how much you tip them.

Is room service the only place to get the infamous Mickey Bars?

You can also get them for dessert at the restaurants. I don't like the desserts at Triton's so I always get a Mickey bar there. I will say, though, that they were warm, mushy and melting on our last cruise when I ordered them for dessert. Our first cruise it was fresh outta the freezer.

We order room servie almost every day, it was really quick usually 5-10 minutes. We tipped between $2-5 based on what we ordered.

It is a great service

I believe the normal suggestion is just a $1 for those items. Feel free to give more if you want. I gotta remember to get the cookies next time. I always want them but we always have 2nd seating so I'm stuffed by the time we get back to the cabin.

Whether they bring one Mickey bar or bars for the whole family...or cookies for the family, I tip $1. Mickey bars are available from room service or the restaurants. Cookies are available at the dessert buffets on deck 9 as well as from room service. On some of our cruises they have been available at Goofy's Galley.

I tip more if they bring real meal stuff.

We ordered them on a regular basis. Man they are good. The kids (and DH ) also got them for dessert after dinner, with a "Mickey" shaped chocolate syrup in a bowl and multi-colored sprinkles!

I tipped $1 for one or two Mickey bars, $2-3 dollars if there were more snacks ordered. We never ordered a "meal" from room service, only snacks. The kids would go to Deck 9 all the time for food.

Delivery time depends on what time you place your order. If ordering room service when a lot of people are getting back onboard in port your wait could be up to 1 hour, but we've had items delivered in under 10 minutes at times.

We keep some one's in the top drawer so they are easily accessible when room service delivers a snack or breakfast.

If we are getting jsut one or two Mickey bars we tip $1. More snacks or Mickey bars for all four of us), or a meal with Mickey bar $2. Meal for more than one person $3-$5 depending on how many and how much stuff.
