Iphone apps - Disney wait times

Has anyone tried any of the apps available for the wait times on rides? If so, which one seems the most accurate?

My hubby just downloaded one of these apps to his iphone. We have been checking it to see what wait times are and make ourselves crazy.. we are not currently in WDW

Anyway I am wondering if there is any way to check how accurate the wait times are as we are not convinced its updated very much...

iphone app

I have looked at several wait programs. The one I like is in beta testing w/ Touringplans at m.touringplans.com on safari. They use input, but also historical data. What I like about it is that they put forecast information about the next 1 hour and half and also information about fastpasses. Since in is in beta testing now it is free to use, but I think it will eventually be part of their yearly subscription to touringplans.com. I look at it all the time even though I am not at WDW.

Now I did manage to get an early version of E-Ticket and it was really good app, but did not have wait times. Looking forward to having this one in the park.

I used Versa Edge "Disney World Wait Times" last week. It's a free app from the app store. It was accurate on every single ride. It is user submitted wait times and I met several people who were submitting a wait time with me in line. Also, it is free!

I am interested in this as well. I just purchased the droid and cannot wait to use the apps in the parks. The wait times with my ridemax plan should make for easy xmas week touring

Is the E-Ticket application still available? I haven't see any new info on it nor is it in the app store. I thought it was supposed to be out 11/1 ?

It all depends on whether there are enough iphone users updating the times. We have downloaded all of the wait time apps. They are accurate 75% of the time. All of the apps depend on users posting the wait times so it can and is wrong sometimes. But we still use it and like it.

Most of them can show you when they were last updated too, so you can get a feel for how accurate the report might be.

The touringplans one is web based and looks FANTASTIC!!! It works great on palm pre and android as well...can't wait to try it out in 3 weeks. I do the same thing...always checking it out at work and home.

It was out last Sunday Morning by mistake. It was a 1.0 version of it. It was not ready and was not suppose to be on Itunes. So there were those that bought it before they took it off of Itunes. It looks really good and I can't wait until they put the final version out. I got the DL as that is where we are heading next and I liked the detailed information they had on both parks.
