Question about Barber Shop and Hair Cuts

I was thinking about having my son's hair cut at the Barber Shop on Main Street. Have a few questions:

1.) HOw much does it cost?
2.) Do I make an appointment or is it walk up? If it's walk up, is there usually a long wait? Are there better times to go?
3.) He is 11. Do you think that's too old for this experience?
4.) Do they do a good job? I guess what I mean is, are they old fashioned in the way they cut hair...like old man or little toddler hair cuts?

Any info would be great. Thanks.

1- See below.
2- Walk-up only.
The wait-times vary all across the board.
3- I'm "ever so much more than 20," and I've had my hair cut there many times.
4- Excellent professional, friendly barbers!

Girls and boys cuts (and adults.)
Inexpensive and fun (sparkles, colored gel, if wanted.)
No ressies.
Can't predict the lines, but expect a wait.
Opens at 9am. Closes at 5pm. 7 days a week.

Children 12 and under, $14
Colored hair gel, $5.
Adult haircut, $17
Beard and mustache trim, $10

My DS (9 & a 1/2) got his hair cut at the Main St. Barbershop last month ~ it was a great experience - we didn't wait long at all, however when we had stopped by earlier in the day there was a long wait ~ so we just went back later in the afternoon.

We walked up just around opening time, thought there was a wait it was actually the line for Daisy Duck. As far as being too old I hope not. I (age 43 )got a hair cut along with my 2 boys age 10 and 8. I even got the gel and dusting, hey where else but WDW can you ever get away with something like that and not have people think twice about it. And by the way it was one of the better haircuts I have ever had.

We have had GREAT luck going here right before the afternoon parade. Each time, we've been able to finish the cut/style and then catch the parade from the sidewalk right outside the shop.

This is a great time for a trip to the barbershop. Also DURING the parade. My DH got his hair cut in June there, and we were treated to a performance by the Dapper Dans.
