Time to get off the ship?

When it is time to disembark, how late in the morning can you leave the ship?

I had a wonderful flight time out of Orlando, but JetBlue just cancelled my flight and now I have a 5 hour layover in Orlando until our flight. I am trying to come up with something to do to fill the time. I was planning on getting picked up at the port around 9 but I am wondering if I can stretch that out at all???

If not, does anyone know of anything else I could do? I had heard something about being able to get a room at the hotel at the airport, but when looking at their website, I don't see where I can do that.

Any ideas? (I dont want to rent a car).

If you are not off the ship by 9, CMs will start firmly but politely escorting you toward the door...so even if you stay on till 9, you'll be thru Customs and out by 9:15.

There is little to be done. You can get a day room at the Hyatt which is located IN the airport--that way you can sleep, use the pool, etc. You may not be able to do this on line--call them. There is free internet at the airport. Otherwise, without a car there is very little you can do.

We have a 5pm flight for one of our upcoming cruises and we've rented a car at the port for the 4 of us. We're going to go to Downtown Disney for lunch (it's my son's 6th birthday so we're going to T-Rex), but there are lots of options of where you can go to kill a few hours. The car rental was cheaper than other transportation, and gives you some flexibility.
