Theme Park Views
Just returned from theme park view (TPV) at Tahiti Building. Nice view of castle from ground floor, plus can walk right onto the beach. The beach was always very quiet as the Tahiti is away from traffic and there's no pathway along the beach, just a grassy area. Also saw the ferry boat going back and forth... and the lighted boat parade. We watched the fireworks from Magic Kingdom and they were spectacular. This was very nice on nights when MK closed at 7pm for the Halloween parties. We went once to the party, but the parties were every other night. For me it was worth it, having a young child so we could sit outside and enjoy the view while he was sleeping. But for older kids, you could easily just walk outside the building from a garden view and grab a spot on the beach.
We walked by the other buildings with TPV. Aeotera seems kind of far from the water, but is closer to the main building which is a plus. Tuvalu is right on the edge of the water and seems like it would have a nice view. Tuvalu does not have walk out balconies on the 2nd floor - the room's sliding glass door just opens to a lookout. I don't think I would like that. I'll have to add my photos later... I need to put them on a site I can share. |

I've never stayed at the Poly, but I found the "Poly pic" thread enormously helpful as I plan for our upcoming trip.

I've read about some rooms that are garden view but have views of the castle. Anyone know what they are?
