Sending Christmas gifts after Christmas

I know this won't work for everyone, but I have several relatives who really don't care when they get their gift (and my family is pretty loose on this for relatives far away! We get it to them when we see them or send it late if we don't.)

Last year I was able to send absolutely beautiful gifts in January for 80%- 90% off thanks to this board!

$100 Hickory Farms boxes for $8-$12
$90 Harry and David gift baskets for $18 or so with shipping.

Everyone who got them said they were really nice gifts (and I got a few for us as well!) and I felt I had given a nice gift and saved several hundred dollars.

I also sent the above for Jan and Feb birthdays and early Valentine's Day treats.

Just thought I would mention it now if some of you have gifts you can send a little after Christmas.

Dawn

Thanks for the reminder!

I also have family that lives a few hundred miles away and we always try to get together over President's weekend if we can, but if it looks like we can't we just send gifts. These are great ideas! Thanks!

Thanks for the reminder! My mother-in-law's birthday is in the first week of January, last year I sent her a great big gift basket from Harry and David (at a great discount). She absolutely raved about it!
