Wow. Missed my DIS 10 year anniversary. - The DIS Discussion Forums

I just realized I've been on these boards over 10 years! Whoa.

My signature says "September 1999", but I actually registered quite a while before that and then lost everything in the "big crash" and had to start all over. So, it's more than 10 years, really.

So, in that time, I've gotten married, had a child, lost my dad, and other big changes....but I've always kept coming back to these boards...for more than a decade.

Just was struck by that tonight and wanted to share. Dang. I feel old!

So.....Happy Anniversary to me!

wont say what's the point (hehehehe) you have been on a lot of trips it seems too wow.....If I can go to WDW once I will jump for joy. Been to DL a few.

That's cool. I've never made it DL, but I've always wanted to. I'd love to go sometime. I've even been to Disneyland Paris...but never California! Odd, huh? We have close family in Ocala, so we get down to Florida pretty often.

I think I have a similar anniversary I didn't notice at the time.

ETA: I had to post to see when I missed my 10 year anniversary. It was back in August. I was in heavy duty trip planning mode then. We left on 8/29 for an 8 night WDW trip.

I joined in the summer of 99, I think....right after I finished high school.

99 was a great year... DD#1 was on the way, life was so much more simple then!

I got lost in the big crash too I believe - I was on bedrest for the last couple weeks and DIS was my link to the world!
