Back 2 back cruise question
Me and my DW are trying to decide whether to take a 7 night cruise next year or a 3 and 4 nighter b2b. So one of our questions is:
At the end of the first cruise, do you have to get off the ship or can you hang around during the cleaning?

You have to get off for about 45 minutes. It's a Customs/Border Control thing. You get off without your luggage (carry on if desired), walk thru Customs, and right back upstairs into the terminal. As soon as the CMs are ready, you are the first people to check in for your new cruise, have new security photos done, and are back on the ship before the terminal opens to new people.
If you are staying in the same room, you can have access to your cabin. Food is available in the Cove Cafe. You'll have the ship to yourself till about 11:45 when it opens for boarding. I just did a post on pro/con of B2B vs. 7 day. I strongly prefer the 7 day if it works for your schedule and budget (either one can be cheaper depending on dates/specials). |
