? About GF Marina View
Hi everyone !! We were so lucky yesterday and actually got a 40% off code and quickly called and booked at the GF !!
It's always been a dream to stay here and this made it possible. We had the nicest CM when we made the reservation....she asked if we'd like a Marina View (since we picked the garden view). I said, sure, it sounds nice. Has anyone stayed there and had the marina view ? On the map it looks like it's the 2 farthest buildings.....I've never been there so I don't know how close / far from the main building and pool that would be. We'll be w/ DD 4 so I don't know.....should I call back and ask her to take that request off and try for Big Pine Key or Boca Chica since they're closer ?? Please help ! Thank you !! Jill

I think you will love marina view in either Conch or Sago which are the two buildings that offer a marina view in the garden view category. They are both very convenient to Gasparillas and the main building. And there is a great shortcut to the bus stop from Sago. These buildings are probably a 4 minute walk to the courtyard pool and a 6 minute walk to the feature pool. All the buildings are relatively close so I think you're fine!

Thank you very much !! I'm SO excited to go that really, it doesn't matter what building we're in, I'm grateful we're going! It just looks like such a beautiful hotel.

Hello Fellow Mississippian!
Congrats on your first trip to the GF! I will be returning to the GF in 2 weeks, and I must say the marina view is one of the best out there. Enjoy your trip!

If the 40% off code was for Club Level rooms you'll most likely be in Sugar Loaf, which is actually second closest to the Main Building and has nice views of the marina and part of the lagoon. Either way, you can't go wrong with views of the marina. Have fun!!!

YAY for Mississippi!! Well, I'm really glad to hear that the marina view is good. I've always wanted to stay here so we're just beside ourselves. Plus, with a DD4, the monorail and the Princess dinner is really the major draw for us ! I hope your trip is terrific !! Maybe you can post some pics when you get back ?? |
