How much are the Rose petals that people toss?

I figured I would just ask here because Rosie is probably swamped

We had them put in a little bag and set out on each chair prior to our ceremony. I think they were either $2.50 or $3.50 a bag (I am leaning more towards $3.50).

I have also seen where they put loose petals in a large basket and someone walks around to everyone after the ceremony and everyone takes a handful. This is probably less expensive depending on how many you need.

I think it's $2.50 if they are in a basket, $3.50 for a bag.

We were going to be chared $95 for 40 people...just petals in a basket and they would take a handful, no bags or cones.

That works out to about $2.25 per person. The only reason in a basket might be better then each in individual bags is there might be more for people to throw. People can take a large handful.

for those of you that bought them, was it worth it? I am sticking with DPS and I would be SUPER P.O.'d if the moment they were thrown wasn't captured in photos. Just looking through peoples pictures the ones with the petals are always my favorite.

Our photographer was Misty and yes she did catch it but also did a recreation to get more shots - so we actually had people throw the petals twice. Got to get those shots.

I'm not too sure about how much I paid for this for my daughter's wedding but we made rose pedal cones for each individual. There were approximately 175 cones with rose pedals in each and they were given to the guests as they exited the WP. They were also a keepsake to the guests as they had their names on it, date of wedding and where it was performed.

We're doing cones with our logo printed on them and that ended up being $9 a piece; 2.50 for the petals and 6.50 for the cones.
