How long before receiving DCL roundtrip transfer tags?

I am the travel coordinator for my families upcoming Thanksgiving cruise and had arranged through my travel agent the DCL roundtrip airport transfers for 1 stateroom in our party (my brother). The TA e-mailed me back on 11/6 and said the party was all set and to look out for the green and white tags. Well, my DB has not recieved their tags yet. They do have their tickets, but nothing else. I've always arranged my own transportation to the port and am unfamiliar with this aspect of the cruise. How long should it take for them to receive their tags? If they don't recieive their tags where do they go when they arrive in the airport after they get their luggage?

Thanks for any help!

Luggage tags typically come 2-4 weeks before sailing. IF they don't arrive, you do have other options. If you are taking DCL transfers from the airport (MCO), go to the Disney Welcome Center lower level, terminal B, with luggage claim checks. They will take care of the luggage from there. He doesn't need to claim the bags, just take the claim checks to the welcome center. If you are leaving from WDW, there is a cruise desk in the resort that can issue replacement tags.

Tags for the return trip are issued after you are on the ship.

The luggage tags should be in with the cruise document book. You say he has his tickets. That's what has me confused. Do you mean plane tickets or cruise documents (which aren't really tickets). If the latter, the tags should be there! There is only one mailing sent.

Did you add the transfers after you rec'd the cruise documents? If so that means they will be coming under separate cover. Contact the TA to see how long it will take to receive the tags.

Yes. Transfers were added the day after they rec'd the doc.'s. I will contact my TA, but they seem not to be able to answer some of these questions.

Thanks!
