Help w/Bday lunch/dinner for 1 yo

We will be at WDW from Dec 10-17. We are traveling with both sets of grandparents as well as my SIL and her son who will turn 1 yo on 12-11. I am trying to figure out when to do a bday dinner/lunch for him.
I have planned for us to be at MK that day. I have never done a character meal on our MK day b/c I always feel like that is the best park for the kids so we tend to east at CS so we can spend the most amount of time on rides/shows.
I already have breakfast scheduled at O'hana for the next day.
Would you recommend that we do a character meal like Crystal Palace on our MK day, or should we try to do a special bday dinner on Thursday when we arrive? We are not planning on going to any parks on Thursday so we would have plenty of time for a special dinner.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

ETA- the other 2 kiddos are both boys ages 4 and 15 months.

We love Crystal Palace for lunch. Not sure if you will be able to get reservations but you could try for there. I am sure they will make a big deal for a 1 year old birthday party.

Other place would be Chef Mickey for dinner - I know they do the birthday napkin twirl thing but you might not want to leave the park.

DS1 loved Crystal Palace. He loved Pooh! If you can get a reservation, definitely do it. I had my birthday there and they had confetti on the table and I think I got a cupcake! It was awesome! I totally recommend Crystal Palace for a one year old! See picture below!

Unfortunately I can't get a ressie at CP as of now. We have a large group of 12. I will call back daily to check for cancellations, but not getting my hopes up!
This was a last minute request from my MIL, so I didn't expect to be able to get in. Maybe we will just eat dinner offsite and have a cake at the house.

Thanks!
