Need to rent 4-bd/3-ba home near Disney,w/game rm,pool in July,any ideas? - The DIS Discussion Forums

I'm looking to rent a 4 bed/3bath home near Disney with a game room and pool. Can anyone recomend one that they have stayed in and the owners were easy to work with and it was close to Disney. It can be in Kiss or Clermont or even Davenport. I would like it to be no longer than a 15 min drive to the Disney parks. It needs to sleep between 8-10 people.

I'm also open to house with 2 baths but would like to have 3. I know it is a lot to ask but you guys are great about helping.

This year there are some tremendous deals available if you shop around and are not afraid to ask (politely). I found 5 bedroom homes in WH for $1000 a week TOTAL (pool heat and taxes)

My suggestions: rent directly from the owner for the best deals and if you need a 4 bedroom, consider 5 and 6 bedroom homes as well. Our original search years ago was for a 4 bedroom, but we got the best price on a lovely and very spacious 6 bedroom.

I agree you want something close by. We stick to the Formosa Gardens area which includes Rolling Hills, Indian Creek, Emerald Isle, Arcadia, Windsor Hills, etc. They are close enough to encourage a pool break mid afternoon when the crowds are at their peak.

There are owners who set their price and stick to it. I don't blame them a bit, as the properties are worth every penny.

There are owners who will price by supply and demand and if they feel they need the booking, will offer you a great deal. I'm not familiar with the demand in July but I'm sure it's not the same as our week mid January.

We rented from Peter & Anglea Jennings - www.windsorhillsonline.com. Their home was wonderful. 4BR/4BA, pool, gameroom, etc...check it out. Peter was very helpful.

We stayed at www.bobbysdreamvilla.com because we wanted 2 king bed suites. I like to put an inquiry in on www.windsorhillsrent.com with my requirements and settle in for the flurry of responses.

You might want to look at Dolphin Song at Lindfields it has 4 brs 2 & 1/2 BATHS. iT HAS A pool and hot tub and it's very pvt. Its about 10 mins. from Disney, also go to www.orlandovillas.com there are many more to choose from.
