Update on Captain's Grille Thanksgiving dinner
Hi everyone! I figured I'd post an update. I called DD last night because my DH was pretty mad when I told him that I was told that Captain's Grill was only going to offer a special holiday offering and I had NO idea what that entailed. He was seriously wanting to cancel our trip all together since that was the whole purpose of us driving up to Orlando for the long weekend, so that someone else can make our Thanksgiving dinner. Well I told that to the CM I talked to and she started hunting down to find out what this special offering meant. She ended up calling the restaurant herself to find out and they verified that they will have turkey and ham and some desserts along with their normal menu, which sounds a lot like what they offered last year. So I'm crossing my fingers that it is like it was last year

THANK YOU so much for putting the effort into finding out this info. I actually had that on my list of things to do today (after browsing the DIS, of course!
)We have dinner reservations there based on last years menus. Plus the location! Happy Thanksgiving! |

Thank you so much for calling to find out!! I've been dying to find out. So I have a lunch there on Thanksgiving and we did NOT go last year. So do you mean that there will be a buffet like last year? That description from last year certainly made it sound like it would be a buffet. So a buffet with salad, soup, turkey, ham, veggies, etc etc.?
The only thing different this year is that they'll also offer from their normal menu? Again- thanks for calling. I feel so much better.
