Windsor Hills and guests?
We're planning to stay in a townhouse at WH in Oct 2010 (haven't booked yet), and there's another family going with us for that week. They got a deal thru the Armed Forces Vacation Club, and will be staying somewhere else.
Does anyone know if non-resort guests are allowed to enter WH? What is their guest day/overnight policy? Is there one? TIA! |

We have a similar situation. I asked the owners of the townhouse we are renting. They said there wouldn't be a problem. You get a rental voucher that you use to check in at the gate. They said just to print a copy of it to give to our guests, and they can use it to get thru the gate. Our guests will be spending 1 night with us.

They can also visit if they know your rental address in WH. They can give security your rental house address and your last name and they should be able to get through.

Just check with the person you are renting from. There are limits to the number of guests allowed in a home.

For a townhouse in WH, the maximum occupancy would be 8 persons overnight. Also, the owner would need to know/approve this, in case of fire situations, etc., how many are in the villa/townhome and names of persons. Failure to let the owner know of guests staying overnight may result in breech of the terms and conditions (make sure you read what the terms and conditions of your rental are).

Thanks, guys.
We ended up booking the townhouse today, and the owner said he would help me to get the vouchers. He said the security is tight, and a couple of weeks ago his wife couldn't get in because she didn't have ID, and the guards wouldn't let her in without it! That makes me feel good about staying there
