Disney Wonder Cruise Staff - The DIS Discussion Forums

So who all is on the Disney Wonder as of now? Anyone know I know some people who are like Chance and Frankie, but who else?

Well, we just got off a 3 dayer Nov 5 and we had Brenton (from St. Lucie) and Andrew (from U.K.) as our dining servers and they were great. Very professional and just good down to earth type guys. After they brought out dinner, you just wanted to hang with these guys and chat about their homelands, which we did. By the end of the cruise, you felt as if you'd known these guys for years, not days.

Walter was our stateroom steward, and he was very good as well. he was always so busy it was hard to find time to chat with him though!

We just got off the Wonder on Sunday (11/16) and we loved our servers! Rasmay (From India), Joel (From the Phillipines) and Kevin (our trainee from the USA). They were amazing. The kids loved the magic tricks that Joel and Kevin showed them...well they did tell Kevin that Joel's tricks were better but hey he tried and it made them all laugh. Kevin's trick was making DD's orange crayon write Blue.

Kevin even told them that he would have better magic tricks to show them the next time we sailed. LOL DH is still trying to figure out Joel's last magic trick so it even kept him entertained.

Oh and our stateroom host Lorenzo (from the Phillipines) was great. He was always around when we needed him. He always stopped to talk to the kids and make sure that we had everything that we needed. We even got to watch him fold a towel swan on the last night. The kids really enjoyed this vacation.

Just so everyone knows the Cruise Staff are the people who run the activities around the ship, not the overall crew. Frankie is actually transferring to the Magic although Pikey will be returning over the next few months. Tisa is on right now but it is almost time for her vacation. Not sure about anyone else.

Christiaan told us that he has been named the "executive cruise director" for the Wonder and Brett had the same position on the Magic. That means they are "permanently" assigned to those ships except when on vacation... Rachel is shorside now preparing for the Dream, where she will be CD.

SO, you'll have Christiaan!

If your around the adult pool- look for Shrie from India and Ralston from Jamaca. They are awesome and take very good care of you. Look them up

Just got off and had Petar and Pikual as our servers. Awesome. Also saw Cesar serving too. He was our server in 2001. Got pictures of them to add to our scrapbook. I regret not getting a picture of Julie who tends bar in teh Promanade lounge. If anyone has a pic of her I'd love to add it to the collection.

Just got off the Wonder Yesterday (11/25/09) Wish I was still there. Ray was the CD and Norbert was our head Server and Kylie the assistant server. They were WONDERFUL!!!! Norbert was so funny and you could tell he truly loves his job. Chance and Frankie were also still on the Wonder and they were GREAT! Hope everyone sailing soon has a great trip!!
