Explorer Hotel

Can anyone give me a recommendation for this hotel? I seem to have narrowed the choice to this one.

They have free shuttle busses to parks. What about Disney Village or could we walk there from the park?

We have stayed here and I would certainly recommend it, there is also an excellent swimming pool and children's play area.

Disney Village is actually right next to where the shuttle busses will drop you off from the hotel. The park and studios is a short walk past the Disney village.

If it hadn't have been for the 40% Disney offer then we would have stayed at the Explorers again.

I would certainly recommend the Explorers if you have children with you, especially if they like to swim - the Explorers has a fantastic childrens play area in their pool .
The only thing you need to look out for is possible noise in the corridors outside your room/next door room. All the Explorers rooms have lockable connecting doors, and we were unlucky enough to be stuck between 2 school trip groups in our corridor, so there was a lot of running around in the corridors, and youngsters shouting to each other out the windows etc. I did call down to reception, and they did sort it out though .

All of the associated hotels (Explorers, Dream Castle, Magic Circus, and Kyriad) are in a row, they are all served by free shuttle buses back and forth to the Village and the parks, and they are all (in my opinion) a very acceptable alternative to staying onsite. You can see the tops of some of the park attractions from the hotel rooms at the associated hotels, you are that close to them.
