Only one day :(, dinner at Waltz?
We are taking our 3rd, and final, trip to Disney next week(Wednesday).
![]() Our annual passes expire next week, so we will get one day in the park. Was supposed to be 2 days, but the hubby has to work. Stupid job! Anyways, we want to have a nice dinner experience and not just grab hotdogs all day, but we also don't want to "eat up" 2 hours of an already shorter day. Am I correct that that the fantallusion parade starts AFTER the light up of the castle? Is it possible to get a reservation WINDOW SEAT so we can enjoy our last night at disney eating a nice meal, looking out the window watching the lights go by?? If so, what time would you recommend getting the reservation for? Thanks!!!!Barbara |

Nevermind! Just saw the times for all the parades and such, and also read they don't take dinner reservations when the park closes earlier (7pm).
Looks like hotdogs it is!!

What about a character meal after the park closes at cafe mickey or inventions, or a lovely meal at californian grill over looking the castle or do you have to leave at a particular time.

Does anyone know if Waltz will be open at 4:30 for dinner on a Wednesday? That way we can see the parade, and then be done in time for the castle lighting and fantillusion.

i would give the reservations number a ring. it is in the faq section. not all restaraunts are open every day and they could tell you if it will be open and what is the last seating available. unfortunately anyone on here would only be guessing and i would hate to give you inaccurate information

We ate at Walts on the Wednesday (Nov 11th) and the last reservation slot was 15:45. Parade started at 17:10 ish in Main Street. Walts was winding down at 17:00 but I asked if we could stay and watch the parade and our waitress said yes. To answer your question, it will be open at 4:30 but I don't think you will be able to arrive and eat this late?

Waltz is my favourite restaurant so normally i would say go for it but with such limited time it's probably best to grab hotdogs.
