Is anyone else still waiting to hear back? - The DIS Discussion Forums

I interviewed really late, so it's expected but I'm going crazy because there's so much I need to get done if I go to Disney. I don't want to start with all of the preparations and then get rejected so I'm just waiting in the wings ...and I can't concentrate on anything until I get that email/purple folder. I have a finance exam tomorrow and all I do is think about Disney, all day. lol. Next time I know not to wait for the recruiters on campus and just apply online early.

I need to know! And it's only been 11 days since my interview... lol. I might go insane.

I feel your pain. I also did a later application (I had my interview last Tuesday) and haven't heard back yet. My stomach is all in knots!

Wow, you're from Tampa? Me too! Good luck! Luckily we don't have to worry about plane tickets I guess. lol.

I am in exactly the same boat as you guys. My interview was last Tuesday also and I reeeaaalllly need to find out soon. Do you think distance determines how they notify you? I live in Nebraska and if they snail mail me...I may not find out until the program starts!

Yup! USF Anthropology/Library Science Grad student here.

From what I've heard from here and various other places, it looks like we can expect a purple email before we receive an old-fashioned purple folder. I hope distance isn't a deciding factor; waiting sucks enough as it is!

I'm at UF but I grew up in Tampa and I have lots of friends back home at USF. I picked tons of roles just for a better chance, but my top three were Attractions, Merchandise and Custodial (I did Custodial/Grounds at Busch Gardens for 3 years). I also said okay to QSFB. Bleh. But if it gets me in...

I can't for the life of me figure out their system of responding but it seems most people are getting e-mails. My interviewer did tell me that they're still having problems with it though since it's brand new. I really don't want to be the person that has to wait for the mail.

Still waiting. Interviewed in early September, got a letter saying: currently processing my application the next month.

Hey guys, don't worry. I had my interview TODAY. So you've got nothing on me!

I decided spur of the moment to apply on Sunday night. Called Monday, set up my interview for this morning.

Not going to kill me if I don't get in again - last time I went to Disney as a consolation, but I don't have the money for it this time - if I don't get in this time, my boyfriend is taking me to A Christmas Carol.

Who am I kidding - we're going to see it either way!

I'm at 2 weeks since my interview, another long weekend to endure. I'm tempted to call but I feel like that'd be a bit obnoxious. I can do this. lol.

I'm on my 3rd week. I got a pending letter on Monday, and a thank you for interviewing e-mail the friday before that... Uuuugh

I guess I'm just lucky- both times I knew in under two weeks (this time, 8 days!). I feel awful for you guys!
