Engagement Ring Saying... HELP!!!

I remember reading something here along while back, but can't find it in the search. It is a little reading, for during the ceremony that that says something like the engagement ring is the first symbol of love given..... or something like that. Does anyone remember this or am I crazy

Maybe it was the line about the three rings of marriage...

the engagement ring
the wedding ring
and the suffering...

This is probably what we are using:

"The engagement ring is a symbol of promise and intention. Now the intention is realized and the promise fulfilled. Please place your engagement ring on *Brides's Name* finger over her wedding band to symbolize that the love that brought you together will always protect and sustain your marriage."

Mandy that is a beautiful saying, I haven't heard it before. Thanks for sharing.

That is very beautiful. I have never heard it before either, but I am tucking it away for our wedding.

When I first saw Cinderella Castle after leaving the Contemporary on my very first trip to Disney World, I looked at my mom with my seven-year-old dreamy eyes and said, "I'm going to get married here."

I'll start a PJ just as soon as I get the ring. ; )

I've got a year to lose the 'padding' before I have to order my dress.

This is?

A ring is a symbol of love, devotion and life long commitment between two hearts . As the geometrical shape of the circle states, it has no beginning or end, or to be more definite one never knows where it starts The shape of Sun and of the full moon being similar not only symbolizes power but unity, perfection and eternity
