Penn St v. Mich State Football Game - DHS

A friend and fellow Penn Stater is going to be at WDW this weekend and due to scheduling he will be in the Studios on Saturday. The catch is that he wants to be able to watch the Penn State v. Michigan State (college) football game. While I shared that the ESPN Zone at the Boardwalk is a short walk or boat ride away, I am trying to see if anyone knows of a restaurant in the studios that typically has college football games on their TVs on Saturday afternoons.

Thanks!

I don't know if any place in any of the parks that has outside broadcasting.
Sorry, I think ESPN is your best bet.
or your resort bar

Besides, why would he want to take time out from his vacation to watch Penn State lose?

And take it from a Pennsylvanian, Go Spartans! There's a lot of PA natives that don't root for Penn State. Pitt, now that's another matter. . .

To those who can stay on point - Thank you.

To those who couldn't - Possibly if you went to Penn State you might be able to read and follow instructions... :-)

My husband and I had a great time watching some NFL play-off games a few years ago at the Poly. The bar outside by the pool had a very accommodating bartender and several TV's. We had lots of fun meeting other fans and watching games during the day. They do close in the evening, so we had to move inside for our game, but still enjoyed that one on a large screen TV in the lounge.

They weren't college games and I'm not in the mood right now to say which play-off game it was (Patriot's fan), but it was a lot of fun and I'd bet they will have college games on Saturdays. You're also close enough to MK to head there before or after the games.

Another good place to watch some games would be the bar at the Rainforest cafe just outside AK. You can be in the park and get there pretty quick to watch the game.

They do have TV at one DS restaurant

But I don't think the 50's Primetime cafe will switch over to let you watch the game

If the ESPN Club is too crowded, Big River has at least 2 TVs and we've caught a few games there.

There are no televisions in any of the parks. The "televisions" in 50's Primetime Cafe are "closed circuit monitors" showing video of classic TV shows for themeing purposes.
