How does "Child Swap" work at Universal Studios?

Do they have a child Swap pass like Disney? Or does the 2nd adult wait one place and able to ride without getting in line again.

Can a one adult ride again with the waiting adult?

Please advise. Thank you.

If your kids are too small or unwilling to go on a particular ride you want to experience, you can take advantage of our "child swap" program. Each ride and attraction has a child swap area where one member of your party can wait with the little ones while the rest of your party rides. Then as soon as they get off the ride, they can swap places and stay with the kids while the adults who sat out get their opportunity to enjoy the ride.
Hope this quote from the website helps

It's unclear whether they mean the next adult just skip line & ride or go to the end of the line? Anyone know?

From what I've seen...the person who waited gets to jump to the front of the line for the next ride.

the family that is staying in the child swap room (which is a/c), will be allowed to switch with the other adult when they return from the ride.

you do not go to the end of the line.

the TM will handle this for you.

in the past, some TM's have allowed the others in that group, do a second ride with the alternating adult when it is their turn.

Most places have a child swap area at the exit of the ride. Once the party that has ridden gets off just go to the child swap area and the ones waiting walk back up the exit area so you're not going through the whole line again. We have used it many times and it was really nice.

With child swap, more than the waiting adult was allowed to ride at US/IOA. We went when my oldest was 3 and again at 3.5. It was great that he got to go twice in a row! The same was true for Disney.

The Simpsons ride was the only one we went on where the child swap had the waiting parent go through a little bit of line. They let us cut in close to the end right by the sitting area. Maybe they've changed that now and they let you all the way through?

We did it with The Mummy. My 7 yr old rode it twice and then refused to go on it the rest of the week.

They allowed my 10 yr old to ride with DH and then again with me without question. But, it was a really slow time of year. Not sure if that would make a difference or not.

She walked through the queue with us which can be kind of dark/creepy if a child is nervous. Not sure if there is a back way into the child swap area or not.

When we swapped, the other adult went right to the fast pass loading area.

In the Mummy you can go through the exit ramp to the child swap area.
