New Little Mermaid Ride - The DIS Discussion Forums

First of all, I am sorry if this is posted in the wrong place or has already been discussed. I was wondering if the new Little Mermaid ride coming to Fantasyland will be like the one that is featured in disc 2 of The Little Mermaid dvd (released in 2006?). It looks really cool but they call the attraction that never happened. I know Disney probably hasn't released too many details but just wondering if anyone knows. Thanks!

no. that attraction on the DVD was meant for Disneyland Paris.

if you go to http://www.disneyscaliforniaadventure.com and click on the picture of ariel hanging up, you'll see a little video talking about the new attraction and showing off some of the models. the one at MK will be a clone of the one at DCA

Thanks! It looks great and I was really hoping the one in Fantasyland would be the same/similar. Oh well, I'm sure whatever they built will be awesome!!
