Tink and Fairies during MVMCP

Tink and her fairies is a big must for us on our trip to Disney next week. I have heard that the best time is to be there at rope drop, but my kids are not morning people at all so that may not be possible (I am not ruling it out either). My other thought was to see them during MVMCP. We will be there for the December 1st party and thought about maybe doing this during the first parade of the evening. I figured that the first parade of the night would attract the most people and that would be a good time to see Tink and friends. I don't even know if this is possible though. Is Pixie Hollow even open during the Christmas party? Has anyone ever done this?

Pixie Hollow was open during MNSSHP this year, but only Tink was there!

Last year it was open and there were 3 fairies there, like normal. It was still a 30 minute wait or more. I don't know about this year. Sorry. Maybe someone will have gone already and can tell you.

We did it on a sold out night of MVMCP last year. The lines for Mickey and Minnie in their Christmas outfits was 1 1/2 hours EACH We appeased DD by taking her to see Tinkerbell instead. The posted wait for the fairies was 30 minutes, which was the shortest we had seen it all week...but the wait actually turned out to be 45 minutes (still shorter than the 1 to 1 1/2 hours it was every time we had looked during the day). We saw Tink, Silvermist, and Fawn.

We were at MVMCP on 11/12 and went to visit the fairies around 10:30pm and had about a 30 minute wait. We saw Tink, Silvermist and Rosetta. I don't know how it was during the parade. If you don't see them then, rope drop for Toontown is at 10am, so it's a little more manageable than park opening rope drop.
