new years eve park hop?

For those with New years experience-do you think it will be a problem getting into DS on 12/31 around 1-2pm? And do you think access(park hopping) to EPCOT Btwn 7-9pm will be possible(resort guests)? thanks

a previous post i subscribed to say that epcot and DS hasnt closed due to capacity for years, however MK does ever year. We are hoping to do epcot, then head over to DHS back of 8

Epcot has the largest capacity out of all the parks. You won't have much difficulty getting in, but getting *around* the park is a different matter because of how packed it is.

We have been to wdw for the last 4 xmas weeks. MK has closed to all guests including resort guests by 10am each year(we never go there for the fact that it is wall to wall people). You should have no problem park hopping from DHS and Epcot we did this 2 years ago and entered epcot around 5pm(just in time to get noise-makers and hats) after touring dhs in the morning/ early pm. Last yeat, we went to DHS, toured the park and then left DHS for dinner at YC around 9:30, went to BW activities after and watched the fireworks from DHS and epcot(the high ones can't see ball for illuminations) from the beach at BC. It was a quick exit to our car(we were able to park at YC because we had adr's for dinner) and back to OKW, while others sat in parking lots for more than 1 hour before exiting.
