For Thanksgiving? I have read a few threads today where people just got back and complained that the crowds were bad, mainly because of free dining.... when does free dining end? Is that offer good for lots of people going next week?
we are going Sunday-Saturday (depart this Sunday) and am just wanting to get myself mentally prepared..... thanks! |

The free dining offer was for those checkning in no later than the 24th I believe. Although, you get it for your length of stay. So, it will depend, TG is always quite busy anyways. I don't think it is xmas/new years busy, but busy none the less. We will be checking in 11/25 and staying until 12/05. We are planning on takinng it easy the first few days and then the following week getting much more done! My suggestion would be get what you can done the first few days you are there, then finish up with what you've missed, but taking it easy the last few days. Hope you have a great trip!

I get there the Saturday after Thanksgiving and it is still very busy through the weekend.
Mostly, MK, DHS, and DTD.......Epcot and AK are always good fall-back places when the other parks get too crowded. You have to remember that locals will have family visiting for the holidays so they can get to the parks too - so it can be very, very crowded.

I read that Thanksgiving week is the third most crowded time of year to go to Disney, and I can believe it. Have a plan, and best of luck!

Accuweather.com is currently predicting some rain next week. If it does end up being rainy, could this possibly keep some of the locals away?
