King Size Bed Gurantee/Preferred Rooms at CBR

Hi everyone! Is there a difference between the King Size Bed gurantees and the Preferred Rooms at CBR? I seem to be paying the same price to gurantee a king size bed as the preferred room price.

Having a king sized bed, in lieu of two double beds is a preferred room category.....

A king bed room is a room with one king bed, rather than the 2 doubles. It could be anywhere within the resort except for Trinidad South - those are all pirate rooms with 2 double pirate ship beds. A preferred room is a room in either Trinidad North or the 3 closest buildings to OPR of Martinique, making you very close to the main pool, the food court, the gift shops, the children's pool, etc.

Actually, if you look at the website, the cost per night for a king size bed room is the same as the preferred location room - I would guess that having a king sized bed in the resort would make it a preferred room as well.

Yes, the cost is the same. But one is called King and one is called Preferred. If you book a preferred room you are guaranteed a room close to OPR, but you are not guaranteed a king room.

Imagine how much fun it is when you get one to yourself; I got a king room one year at POR, when I went by myself.

Without my little queen sized bed and my animals, I didn't know what to do with myself!

How many people are in your party? If you have more than 2 you will definitely get 2 double beds. I suppose if there are only 2 of you there is a chance you could get a king bed by booking a standard room.

If you want a king bed reserve one. It can be located anywhere in CBR. If you want to be in a preferred location book a preferred room. You can't book both of them. If you get a king bed in a preferred location you received some pixie dust.

You will not get a king room. They only allow 2 adults and one child under 3.
