Just back...some thoughts!
Was there Thursday-Sunday and it was much more crowded than I thought.
The wait times for some rides were an hour and more. (TSM, Soaring, Space Mountain-soft opening). ALot of people at MK Saturday.MVMCP--was pretty good. It was crowded Friday nite when we did it. The hot chocolate and cookies were good. ALot of characters were out and the decorations were really nice. The big tree was not up while we were there. ![]() For the Dooney and Bourke fans..the WDW purses were being sold out LEFT AND RIGHT at the MK. They had them at the World of Disney in DTD and at Summer Lace at the GF. The bags were 180.00 and the wristlets were 45.00. Of course I had to get one, but i went to WOD and got one with my AP 10% discount. They are really super cute.At Pecos Bills, they were just handing out menus, they were not doing the seating commando thing, so Im sure if you want someone to go get a table for you while another member of your party gets the food, that will be fine. ![]() The weather was chilly at nite and about 75-80 during the day. Take a light coat or hoodie for the evenings. They have alot of cute pullovers, scarves, jackets and winter items. A TON of x-mas merchandise. Much more at DTD than the parks. ![]() Thats all I can think of right now....any questions and I will try and answer them! |

I would have kinda expected it to be busy this weekend, since it is the first full weekend when all the Holiday stuff is starting. The weather is beautiful and I bet a lot of AP holders were there this weekend.

I was also at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party last Friday night. There was a lot of guests there, but every attraction was a walk on. The only attractions I can remember that were not operating was the Jungle Cruise, Swiss Family Treehouse, the Riverboat, Carousel of Progress and Space Mountain (although I hear it had a soft opening on Saturday).
Plenty of locations available for cocoa and cookies and the apple slices and apple juice was a nice addition. We had a great time, but did miss the big Christmas Tree not being in the park yet. In the past, they have put it up on the lawn at the Hub near the castle and then moved it to Town Square after the taping of the Christmas Parade. Maybe it will show up this week. Robert
