Could someone explain the new entrance to Fantasmic if you have the package deal?

About a month ago, there was a post saying there's a new way for the fantasmic package guests to get into the show, now. Is this true? Could someone give a good explanation of where and how you do this?

All I know is it's not the same as years ago when they had a special entrance.

Thanks for the help.

If you go the regular way, will the CMs redirect you? What happens then?

1- Is this true? Could someone give a good explanation of where and how you do this?

2- All I know is it's not the same as years ago when they had a special entrance.

3- If you go the regular way, will the CMs redirect you?

4- What happens then?
1- Yes.
2- It's now in a different place. It's to the right of (as you face) the Beauty and the Beast Theater.
3- Not to the special entrance. But, you can still sit in the DP section. (See next answer.)
4- If you get all the way to the theater via the regular entrance, you can show your
F! Dining Pkg. voucher and the CM's will let you enter the DP section.
But, why do that? Just go to the proper entrance.

Uh oh! Robo, now you've got me confused. I know where the regular entrance to Fantasmic is and I know where the old, no longer used Dining pkg entrance used to be over by Oscar's Garage as you come into DS. Is there now a new entrance or are they back to using the entrance over by Oscar's? How did I miss this?

Another ? along those same lines: I was playing around with the online dining reservations and could not see how I could book F! dinner package through that method. Anyone know if you can?

What she said!!
Having a special entrance is what would entice me to do the Fantasmic package again.
I hate standing in that mob of people waiting to get in to the theater. So much so that I have avoided Fantasmic since they quit using the entrance by Oscar's Garage.

1- Yes.

2- No.

The new FDP entrance is just to the right of (as you face) the Beauty and the Beast Theater,
just past the Once Upon a Time Toy Shop.

Can you not see the three large MAPS that I provided in my post #2?

We are going the 2nd week in December. Is it worth doing a dinner package to see Fantasmic or will it be ok to go in the regular line? Will there be a long wait? We have 4:45 ADRs at 50's PTC, should I try to change them to a Fantasmic Dinner pkg?

Thanks!!!

but Fantasmic packages are very hard to come by; they almost always immediately get booked. It's a limited seating. You can try and there are always cancellations, but I wouldn't count it at this point.

With that said the regular line is mobbed, but the theater fits a lot of people; it's big! You will be alright, but if you want really good seats like front and center, etc. then you need to arrive very early. I will tell you the bottom area gets wet a little, too. Also, what you climb down you need to climb up and by the end of the day it's not so much fun doing a lot of stairs.

You need to arrive early and depending on the degree of seating you want I would think it warrants from 60 to 90 minutes.
