Some Beach Club questions... - The DIS Discussion Forums

What time is stuff like the Marketplace and the arcade open till at night? When we get back from the parks we like to be able to get the kids a snack and fill their mugs and hang for a while - are they open pretty late?

Beaches and Cream is open until 11pm and I'm pretty certain BC Marketplace is as well.

Sorry, no idea on the arcade but I would hazard a guess that it is open at least as late as B&C.

We have walked through BC area at night on our way back to the Dolphin. There's plenty of activity around there! They have outdoor movies,(how cool is that!),a big campfire to make S'mores,people are in the pool(I go to WDW in the summer!). In fact,we have talked about the possiblity of changing next year's resort from the Dolphin(which we LOVE!)to the Beach Club.
So,I'm really paying attention to all the info I can get!

yes, you can get a snack and fill mugs after the parks

At 7 pm at night they have a campfire on the beach. you can purchase (or bring your own) marshmellows to roast and make smores.

At 8 pm they show a movie on the beach - very cool. They list the movies each night by the beach.

pool is awesome and is also open late.

Thanks for the info. My kids would love to see the movie on the beach, but no way we'd make it back by 8 for that.
an "early" night back to the resort for us is 10, and then we like to hang out till about 11:30, 12 - adults have some drinks, kids get some snacks and fill up their mugs, and find somewhere outside to hang out, or go to the arcade.

So trying to figure out what we'll do that night. Other thought was maybe heading over to Boardwalk - ESPN or Big River? Never been. Thought maybe kids get an appetizer and adults get a real drink, hang out for a bit? Or now maybe thinking Beaches and Cream - sure the kids would love that!

We're seeing the holiday Illuminations that night, so guessing that will be over around 9:50 - and then that's it for us for the night - need somewhere to hang for about another hour to wind down!

Do they do the movies year round? or just a summer thing?
