Public Transportation in Downtown Disney Area??
We are going to be staying at the Comfort Inn on Palm Parkway which is close to the Downtown Disney Hotel area (but not in Downtown Disney). There is a shuttle from our hotel, but it doesn't seem to run very often and the last trip returning from Downtown Disney is pretty early in the evening. I heard there might be public bus transportation in this area that might be able to get us to & from our hotel/downtown Disney. Anyone know about this? We will have a car, but I'd rather not drive- especially after a night out at DTD!

There are Lynx buses, which is the local public transportation system, at DTD behind the Cirque de Soleil building.
Go to Lynx's website to get their bus routes

Your best bet will be a taxi. Get the taxi at DTD by WOD or by Planet Hollywood. Should be about $10 plus tip. No Lynx bus from Palm Parkway to DTD

Yeah- I checked the Lynx bus schedule. There is one- but only one- bus that runs around 5pm from DTD to Palm Parkway. That doesn't help me much! A $10 taxi ride might end up being our best bet. Unless anyone has better ideas?!?!

Taxi is the best way to go IMO. You get dropped right where you need to be and you don't stop for other passengers on the way. Just beware of peak traffic times .... one trip cost us quite a bit more because we timed it with the rush hour - and being on vacation I kinda forgot that one exists....
