For all the reading up I've done, I can't find the answer to this one anywhere! I'll be traveling with a baby and 5yo, and will have still and flip video camera, etc. etc. with me. Would they let me on a ride with a small messenger-style bag? It's about 10" square.
I'm already planning to leave our snacks, diapers, and other gear in our stroller. This seems like such a silly question, but it would help to know! Thank you! |

You shouldn't have a problem. Your bags get checked before you enter the park In my opinion every ride has room for bags, usually by your feet.

Wow, thanks!
We were just at a Nickelodeon amusement park a few weeks ago and I seem to remember that they didn't let you take any bags on the rides. Anyway, one worry checked off! Thanks again! |

Most rides have plenty of room at your feet to put things down. Even most of the thrill rides have pockets you can fit a small backpack in. I've never had an issue with where to put a bag at Disney.

Minnie is really just Mickey, but in drag!
A couple of buckets of beer were involved so I may be a little fuzzy on that! Join Date: Feb 2008

If you can wrap the strap around your feet or waist, then no worries. I didn't think the pockets for bags on most thrill rides were large enough for a small backpack. No way would my purse have fit in the pocket on Rockin' Roller. It was fine under the seat on Soarin' and Star Tours.
I usually just let the strap wrap around my waist, though, and it would hang down near my feet. No worries at all! And we were wrangling 4 kids the whole time. (and my mom and dad!)
