CRT Why Breakfast?
I don't know what all the fuss is about the CRT breakfast? Isn't the Lunch the same other than the food offered? Did I miss something here?
Thanks for the help.

Maybe you could explain your question better. What fuss? Do you mean because it's hard to book? I'm not sure breakfast is all that much harder than lunch to book.
And if you mean something else, I guess I don't understand.

![]() What I mean is the books talk about it being hard to get an ADR for Breakfast there but don't say try for lunch or dinner instead. Is it because the breakfast offers something that lunch doesn't? I have read that the AM park time is the prime for getting rides done so why are people rushing to book breakfast there and taking up valuable park time if you can have the same expirence at lunch? Or have I missed something along the way?

Because many, many people feel that the food at lunch is bad and not worth the price, whereas the food at breakfast is pretty good.

Also, I heard that only the mice and a few other characters were at the L and D options, whereas more characters are available for Breakfast. I do not know the specifics, as this is my first time, but that was the advice given to me.

The princesses are at lunch, the mice and Fairy Godmother are at dinner.

I think people get earliest ADR for breakfast to get inside an "empty" MK for Pics. Thats the biggest fuss

This is probably the best reason. Also, breakfast is cheaper, but still getting to eat in the castle. Lunch still has the Princesses, but is more expensive and happens right in the middle of a day of touring. To a lot of people 1-2 hours in the middle of a touring plan messes it all up. Therefore: Empty park + Cheaper meal + Intact touring plan = Insane rush for ADRs JMO

i think the biggest advantage is getting in the park before it opens. some of our best pictures were the morning or our CRT breakfast in front of the castle. and if you book early enough, you'll still be okay to tour the parks in the AM.

Thanks for all the answers. We have it booked for lunch but I was starting to second guess myself and wondering if I had missed something important from the breakfast booking.

We book either CRT or CP for b-fast, just to get in the park early.

If your daughter has a princess dress, another advantage of CRT breakfast is that they have the option to change into regular clothes after the meal. Even if they stay dressed up afterwards, you can go on an exciting ride and not have to worry about messing up the hair or being pristine with the dress.
If you book lunch for CRT (like we did last week) it can put a damper on your pre-lunch touring plans. |
