Does it feel at all like heartburn? Or is it more of a pain like someone punched you in the arm or something really hard.

That's what I was thinking. Your gallbladder is on the right side just under your ribs. When I had gallbladder attacks, it was more of a sharp pain that would be there for a few hours and then go away. Apparently, my attacks were very minor. Some people get very severe pain that doesn't go away so quickly.
If you still have the pain in the morning, I would suggest having it checked out. It might just be a muscle strain like you said, but it's worth having it checked out so close to a trip. Good luck and hope you feel better.

My guess would be some kind of muscle strain. Gallbladder attacks are usually brought on after eating meals. If I recall C.Ann hardly eats to begin with so eating the kind of foods that would precipitate a gallbladder attack would be pretty slim.
I wouldn't worry too much about it. I think we all get unexplained pains here and there that go away as quickly as they appear. |

Hopefully it's something simple like you over worked yourself packing. I'd take some pain meds and try to get a good night's rest. Take care

Mine too. I get this a lot. Had it checked. Is gall bladder but nothing serious. Nothing they will do for it right now as it's just flare ups (too much fatty food in a short time etc). Still have it checked asap just in case.
