Long term planning question
I am planning a trip in the distant future for my family. There will be 6 adults and a four year old: my mom and step-dad, my brother and his wife, me and my DH, and my beautiful, wonderful, totally Disney deprived (I'm workin' on that), absolutely darling nephew. It will be a first trip for my mom, my brother, said gorgeous nephew, and I'm pretty sure for my sis-in-law.
The plan is to go September 2013 (value season) probably later in the month (I did say this was long term planning! lol) Staying on-site is important as I want them to see what it's like and why DH and I love it so much. I really want us to stay at the Boardwalk Villas. But I have to admit, I'm pretty sure my step-dad would like the Contemporary (maybe Bay Lake Tower). We would stay at least a week and I don't think a split stay would work (they are not going to want to move). I figure the BWV is a better option because on most nights the baby will need to be in bed around 8 or 9. If we are at the BW, then grammy and grampy can stay with him (and maybe enjoy a nice balcony or patio) while my brother, SIL, DH and I can walk over to Epcot or go to DHS, or go to DTD...it just seems there are more options there. Renting DVC points for a 2BR Villa would be an attractive option, but it's at least 220 points. Is it likely that one owner would rent that many points? Would I be able to combine points from various owners? I hope you can offer some advice! Thanks! Mods - please move if this is not the right forum.

Yes, there are owners who have that many points to rent so you should be able to find someone willing to get you the entire reservation.

Thank you, Sandi!
Now that that's settled...I just need to figure all the other stuff out.
