Brining Coffee/Hot Chocolate in Insulated Mugs to the Parks?
This is the first time I will be going to the parks in December.
It is usually 90s when we go in September/October so usually bring water bottles with us on the buses and into the parks. This time, since it will be cooler, I was wondering if we are allowed to bring those insulated plastic or aluminum travel coffee mugs with us into the park. I have one I purchased at MNSSHP which I love. We will want to put hot chocolate or coffee we get at our resort or at the parks in them to keep it hot and carry it around the parks looking at the Christmas decor. Is there any problems with this? |

Shouldn't be a problem. I have seen lots of people with mugs and cups that they have brought into the parks. Enjoy!

You should not have any problem with bringing in a refillable resort mug.
The only time I have heard a security guard mention beverage container restrictions was specially against glassware. |

We take our mugs to the parks every trip. Later in the day they're great to have to put free ice water in or drinks you don't finish at meals.

You might have noticed that my boyfriend glitters. It's just something that he does in the sun. Don't worry about it.

Any idea where this was or how much it cost? Thanks!

I get the press pot of Kona coffee at the Kona Cafe for breakfast even though it's sized to serve 2 (DH drinks tea). Last trip, the CM offered to give me the leftovers in a to-go cup to take to the park with me -- the only reason I didn't do it was that we were there in August and it was TOO HOT to walk around with a hot drink. Should be fine for December!

We routinely fill up our resort mug with coffee/hot chocolate before leaving the resort in the morning. And sometimes it still has liquid in it when we get to the parks. It has never been a problem.

I believe my husband paid $5.00 for the mugs and they are at DHS at/around the osbourne lights, so you can enjoy walking and looking at the lights, while it snows with your hot chocolate! it is fantastic!

Sure you can. If you purchase a hot chocolate or coffee in the park the CM will give you the drink, and you will have to pour it in your mug. (health code thing). I am going in may, but thinking of doing the same thing to keep our cold drinks cold. Just a tip- december can be warm in Orlando, or it could be cold so plan for both. Went two years ago, and wore shorts for two days, and had to wear a jacket on the third day.
