Best lagoon view room at Poly

We are staying in a lagoon room at Poly in Nov 2010.. and I thought I would want a 1st floor patio.. but am now thinking I may want the 3rd floor balcony better.. especially at night and in the early morning when the kids are still sleeping..

Are the 1st floor rooms blocked by the bushes and trees? I was thinking of requesting the Tahiti longhouse since its facing the beach.. just wondering if the 3rd floor would be better..

I've stayed in the Hawaii building in a third floor balcony room a few times and I thought the view from up there was great. I've seen the view from the ground floor and that's good too, but unless I specifically wanted the patio for some reason, I'd always prefer the third floor.

Here's a link to one of my web pages with pictures of the view from our third floor room, you will have to scroll down a little to get to them (there are a lot of pics, so it make take a moment or two for them to load):

We prefer the first floor at the Polynesian but any lagoon view is great.

BTW, second floor rooms in Tahiti also have balconies.

Hi SeaSpray!

Hi BCV!

I know that many people prefer the first floor, and I can understand that. I'm sure that eventually I'll be on the first floor (lagoon view) and I'll love it.

We were in a ground floor room last year, Garden view Hawaii building. It definitely had some advantages.
