mini wedding cake GF question - The DIS Discussion Forums

I posted in the cake chatter thread but I think my post just got lost among the many. Plus I thought of more questions.

Regarding getting a mini wedding cake from GF bakery.

Is my understanding that do not deliver it to other resorts only to restaurants and rooms at the GF correct? Is this also true of the bakery at the boardwalk?

If that is correct where would I be picking it up?

How late are the open to pick it up?

It appears that they can do the mickey imprints (the ones they use the back of the pin for) and they can do the cinderella's castle white chocolate top, both cakes are $25 and it is my understanding all the mini wedding cakes are $25. Would I be able to get the mickey imprints and the castle for $25 or would that be extra?

I don't know this first hand, but I have read numerous times on the cake thread that you can pick up BW bakery cakes (to go) at the BW bakery. Someone recently on the cake thread suggested asking GF bakery to see if they could deliver it to Gasperillas for pick up. I have read so much negative about GF bakery lately on the cake thread that I canceled my cake ressie there and am getting a cake from cakemanbri delivered to my room at the CR. Good luck with your cake at the GF!

hmm I thought I read that you can pick them up at GF too. That would be the easiest way because I will have no problem convincing the person I am surprising to hop on the monorail after MK closing to check out the Christmas decorations at GF, and then I will grab the cake while the rest of our party distracts him.
